Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange report — a claims history database maintained by LexisNexis. Insurers use CLUE reports to review up to 7 years of a property's or driver's claims history when setting rates. Even claims filed by prior owners of a home can appear on its CLUE report and affect your premiums. You can request a free copy of your CLUE report annually from LexisNexis to verify accuracy and dispute errors.
